Overview: Technical account management for assigned clients.

Summary of duties and responsibilities: 

  • Daily Tier II IT support for assigned customers of Utilitra, including both internal and external customers
  • Escalation point for advanced technical issues
  • Establish and maintain positive working relationships with customers
  • Respond to customer needs by phone, remotely or in-person depending on the issue
    • Visits to customer sites will vary based on workloads and customer demands
  • Recommend technology solutions and improvements to clients
  • Serve as a departmental resource for subjects in your area of expertise
  • Manage customer-related projects
  • Document IT processes and solutions
  • Track software license compliance
  • Maintain a detailed inventory of technology hardware
  • Assist IT staff with document management
  • Perform routine support and administrative tasks
  • Other work as assigned or prudent

 

Education and/or Experience:

  • Two-year college degree or Industry certification required
  • 3+ years documented technology experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft desktop and server operating systems
  • Networking background
  • Cloud application management such as Office 365, backup, and antivirus
  • Proficiency in Office applications, specifically Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access
  • Familiarity with IT terminology (software, hardware, equipment/supplies, networks, telephony, etc.)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Commitment to excellent customer service
  • Ability to use independent judgment, maintain a high level of confidentiality and operate under minimal supervision
  • Valid Drivers' License and clean driving record required
  • Permanent Employee Registration Card (PERC) required
